Almost like a rotary whooshy creaky noise. Not wheel bearing.

If I press on the brake pedal hard, it goes away. If I corner hard on a left turn it goes away.

I've had the car in the air. Wheel spins very freely, no sounds, wheels / spacers are on tight. No other sign of wear,

I've had a very light version of this noise for some time which I could never trace, it went away for a while, but has come back again now and louder. The faster I go though, the less the noise can be heard, ie road noise cancels it out. There's no vibration through the steering either.

Are u sure you dont need spigot rings for those new spacers?

They are hubcentric spacers!

They are hubcentric spacers!

Yeah i know they are but are they the correct hub size? mine are not and i just needed to fit spigot rings to make up the difference. quite simple really.

Actually, come to think of it, I may have neglected that point. I was thinking from the standpoint of the spacers. Remembering back, the wheels were originally from an RX-7. Whilst PCD is the same, centrebore is ever so slightly different. I believe centrebore on the rex is something like 59.5mm, whilst the Z is 66mm. That'll give me a 6.5mm variance which equates to a 3.25mm radial (ie 3mm spigots). I've had the wheels on for 3 years now and they've been fine. So doubt it's caused any issue, but I may as well get some...if indeed I can get them that fine.
