Right,

Looking at parts for a rebuild, just the block for the moment though!! I'll worry about the rest when i get around to it.

What would ppl suggest is good to upgrade:

So far:

Forged pistons

Main and rod bearings

rebuild kit

Oil pump + water pump

head studs

cometic HD

is anything else i'm missing?:D

I'll do a search, can you remember who posted etc?

plenty of scope if youre going bigger than 555! i think a good rule of thumb is 555cc injectors will take you to very roughly 555bhp. stock ones will be good for (roughly) 380bhp etc.

ive been looking all over the shop for this thread - found these three, one of which i started myself!!!! what a tw@!!!!

Steve its a long and expensive road i can tell you.

I originaly started like yourself and just kept adding and adding until (i hope) i finaly got everything.

Bigger injectors as a rule are cheaper than 555s as there is more to choose from BUT you have to but either a Border or 360 degree fuel rail to fit them.

Take a look at this http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=118602

believe me its never ending this has taken me 2 years.

Good luck

Steve

Well I've been thinking about it for two years i thought i'd best get on with it!! It's nice to see people doing a proper job!!

Thanks for the link!

I'm looking to get some 1995+ head, lower intake and fuel rail, i'm hoping this will work as a better match so i don't have to use a 360 rail. It's probably going to be more expensive though.

Thanks again, Ste
