dump valves?

Just fitted dump valves and remembered reading somewhere that the original recirculating valves could be better (power wise).... is this true? Have i just made my zed marginally slower for the sake of a noise?

    Well the excess Air is 'Dumped' out of the dump valves IE Wasted where as in the Recirc valves it is then pt back through the Turbos after circling back so technically yes but i dont think it will be a noticable difference!

    Thats the Plus of Recirc valves! :)

    Recirc valves sound better (nothing at all) ie, not like a Scania lorry's airbrakes or some rev-happy boyo in his RSturbo down Maccys innit. ;) They are also better than atmospheric DVs. :)
