The problem it seems is the bovs. It seems like the bov doesn't close fast enough, causing the car to die:headvswal

The bov are mounted on the hardpipe before the throttlebody. The vacum adapter/control tube or whatever it's called that's on the back goes to the balance bar.

You have a airleak somewere, cheak the recircs are detached, i know some dump valves 300zx do not run well on, i got fed up of mine and sold em!

checked for air leak. couldn't find any. Even used smoke to make it easier to notice. The recircs are blocked. and the dump valves are HKS ssqv.... And it seemes like the left one is the problem. And yes, though it was broken so I got a new one. Same problem..

dump valves do this in all cars, its not because they dont close fast enough, its because with your original recirc setup the excess boost is sent back into the intake, whereas with the DV's you lose that air to the atmosphere.

The usual way to solve the problem is to turn up the idle a little, but with the zed you cant, i have DV's in the original position but only get this problem if i slam on the brakes after boost, and only if im going quite slowly.

All you need is somebody to advise on the way/s they've overcome this problem on their zed.

Dont sell, have patients

are they adjustable? i had the same prob with my apexis and it turned out they were sucking air in. tightened up a little and all was well!

i have the same hks ssqv's on mine .....only mine are in the original position , jst replaced the standard valves..didnt bother puttin thm in the top pipes n it seems fine

the problem is that the ssqv is not adjustable. I'll give the idle trick a try.

I have one extra... Think i'm going to disasemble it and see if there are any springs inside...

The springs weaken over time on the ssqv's. You can get uprated ones from HKS which should solve the problem

I used a T piece and the same lenght on vacum line from the bov's. From the t to the balance bar on the left side in the engine bay. Took the car for a spin. When I got back the vacum line to the bov where flat?

So I can only conclude that either the vacum line that I bought is crap or something is wrong with the vacum setup somewhere
