Hi all ,im new to these japanese performance cars( past audi owner ), just bought a U.K. spec 300 tt lwb , needs work , welding on sills !!!, complete overall service!!! drinks like a fish, need some advice on who can do the work for a good price, can you guys n gals help this newbie?

Zedworld are not far away at Tamworth for servicing etc.

Many of the UK sold cars are now in the state of requiring welding. Lots are also being scrapped now due to the high costs of repair particularly engine/turbo and gearbox work.

If you are prepared to travel up to Nottingham then there is someone here who could do the work also.

I'm not sure what you mean by "good price". The 300ZX is an old and complex car. Parts and labour are not cheap.

sorry what i mean by good price is something that reflects the work done ,as the car had work done previous and was bodged, paper and filler to repair sills? i couldnt believe it ,it was actually envelopes that i pulled out the sill. its booked in to get a inspection at zed world this weekend ,i thought i would see if anyone has any other recommendations, car bought for less than a grand with mot n tax, automatic with leather 89000 on clock . white.

ive done most of the welding on my uk zed, get the front radiator support cross member checked, im currently doing mine now and it aint the most funest of jobs lol
