There are 2 headlamp relays, Left and Right under the large fuse holder in the engine bay to the right, i think they are blue. I think they control hi and low, which is why you need to ground pin 5 of the relay when fitting HID's to keep the mains on when flashing or using high beam. HTH

isn't it 2 relays to turn on the +ve feed to the lights (one left one right) but only a single changeover relay to connect the pair of lights you want to ground? on relays blue and changeover black???????? not near the car so can't check

Yeah I'd be interested as my hids go off when I flash to switch to high. I think there was a thread about this? Might be overloading things doing it as Nissan only designed it for one set to be on at once.

Oh yeah I remember

 

I didnt do the 5min earthing mod as then flashing my hi beam would also flash my hids which isnt good for them I read, the other mod just looked like too much effort!
