    They are original AMG, and came with the AMG pack (optional £5k extra)

    That's about right for the earlier cars; even the SL500 before 2004/5-ish only had 300bhp. That's one reason I bought a 2006 SLK350 as opposed to a 2003 SL500 - they were almost the same money but the SLK is much quicker and newer!

     

    The CL500 is a nice car though - it's a lot of metal for the money; however Meht's S320cdi looks better value;)
