Whilst car was being worked on, I had huge smic's fitted, the aftermarket bumper wont allow for the indicator to fit back in the hole, I want to mesh the hole to allow for better cooling, what indicators can I get and where would I put them, I have taken a couple of pics, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

hmm, thats a tough one, how bout working out where you want to place the indicator, then go round scrap yards looking for something that fits your needs, rip it off with the plug and some wiring and solder it into yours.

Just a suggestion, some small oval indicators would look ok

I will have a look on the net tonight and see what options I have.

That looks good, worth thinking about, should I get ducts or mesh?

dunno, take a pic of the full front and lets see, if you were replacing the spotlights i would say use ducts but the indicators im not so sure

im sure this has been mentioned before and bypassed somehow, try jimmytt, i think he has smics fitted.

But to get the benefit you would have to have these removed anyway, so... maybe there is a better way, all you need is a bit of trim, ill have a little look around

just get UK front indicators/sidelights. On UK models the Indicators and sidelights are where the Import front fogs & sidelights are, and where the Import sidelights live are just blanks on a UK model.

Your Intercoolers are HUGE!!! I compared them to my HKS ones and the difference in depth was silly!!!

What about using LED's drilled in to the fron of the bumper, i did it withthe side repeaters..

They were about £4 from Ebay.. resistors pre-soldered on and they work a treat, no over flashing or other mods required...

I thought this, but the backs would still touch the intercoolers, and i dont think he would reap the rewards if the coolers are blocked

Not bad are they, they are the godspeed ones, not bad for under £200.

That looks like a good idea, would just mesh the gap instead of blocking it off.

Just cut off the back part of the bulb holder thats catching the IC's and hot glue the bulb holder in place within the housing, bit of a bodge but you get to keep the original lenses. Alternatively put some amber leds within the housing either on a board or similar and do away with the bulb holder. By cutting away the rear plastic of the housing it will fit as it originally would and clear the IC's.

If you specifically want to change where your flashers are, check out a local motorcycle shop, or search on line for one.

Most shops stock flat indicators designed to mount on fairings. Most are stick on, but you could use self tappers.

I meant fit the UK Indicators/Sidelights, and leave his current indicator space meshed.
