Hello guys,

 

Just want to know if there's anyway I cay spray bitz pearl white myself. I've got a spray shop that makes up all auto paint, but how easy is it to actually do things in pearl?

I was thinking of doing some of the engine bay bitz n pieces - any ideas?

My car is pearl white and i had Chips Away tough it up. He could match the colour OK, but could not spray due to the thinness of the paint. There are lots of coats needed to get it right.

Vijay,why not let Peter do it when he sprays it?

I did think of that, but I'm not sure what I want done yet. Can't keep running to Peter every time, he's gonna get fed up with me

a lot of people mix the base colour with the pearl so you only need a few coats. but this is wrong our pearl is a 4 stage process prime, base, pearl, then lacer. apply pearl coat till correct colour achieved as pearl coat is nearly transparent. only a hint of your colour in it.

be warned....

Your car is testament to what a pearl should look like when done properly mate. I was blown away with it seeing it in the flesh T!
