Having emigrated to Malaysia in April and taken my zed over, decided to get the interior done. The old black leather was beginning to show its age so took it to an interior retrimmer.

Seemed to be a good outfit with samples of their work at the premises. All in the job took 3 days. They retrimmed the seats and panels in italian cream leather with black stitching. I`m very impressed with the results and the cost was about £480. Similar job would cost 2-3 times that in the UK.

looks great. How much hassle was it to take the car over?

Well it ain't perfect and personally I wouldn't have gone cream, but it looks fab and you've certainly got fantastic value there.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Andy, initially wasnt sure about going all cream, thought about two tone first of all but saw a car in the workshop in the full cream leather and decided it looked good.

Jaffa, wasnt too much of a hassle but I emigrated to Malaysia under a specialist programme with the wife(who is originally Malaysian). It allowed us to take two cars tax free. Normally exported cars are subjected to 200% tax plus other costs. Took over my C Class merc also. Cars are really expensive in Malaysia.

TBH that still sounds expensive for SE Asia considering you can get copy designer suits made for £100 however it doesn't look bad.

Crikey!!!!

Dude, time to become a trader on here!!! Sell the whole thing including seats for a grand and your laughing!

A grand?? Shhhh...stop putting ideas in his head!
