My tension rod bushes were absolutely mullered and the price of new bushes seem to have rocketed, so I searched US Ebay and came up with some rose bearing typr arms, just $49 plus $46 postage to UK, and no import duty ?? Well today the sun was shining and I fitted them. Not as straight forward as I thought they would be due to the FMIC pipework, but still only took a couple of hours. Hopefully they will never need changing again, they also look quite funky as well.

Lookin good mate, gotta get my adjustable bits fitted asap, and that includes tension rods and bushes :D:D:D

i would give the rose joints a good coat of grease, they will very quickly seize up otherwise, or you can get rubber boots for them which are even better.

As above. Suprised they don't come with them. My Powertrix ones did, but then again, they cost 3 times as much. So, looks like a bargin there John!

I was apprehensive about buying unnamed components and had spent time shopping about, but postage from the US appears to have gone through the roof. I found some tension rods under the 'Wicked' brand for $99 but the seller wanted $143 for postage. I was about to buy some normal rod bushes and get Jimmer to change them, when I spotted these. It will be interesting to see how they fair, especially being open to the elements. On initial driving I can certainly feel the positivity when braking.
