Hi

My name is Mick, been a zed 31 fanatic for years but finally bit the bullet and have just brought a turbo manual zed 32 (still keeping the old 31 though).

Thanks mate

Z32 not on the road yet as she has very rotten sills but only cost me 500 squids and has only done 82k, having trouble finding replacements so may have to fab some up. Fortunately I work at a garage and can weld but its going to be a bit of a mission I think!. Apart from the sills the car is ok, cant wait to get her on the road.

well your'e in the right place for help and advice there's plenty of threads to search 2 !

82 k isnt bad at all what year bud? and you will have to give us some before and after pics

After years with the 31 I know the car inside out, but this new beastie looks very complicated. Heaven forbid anything goes wrong with the engine!

Some of you may resent me for this, but the reason I purchased the zed 32 was that I need a decent car to drive while the zed 31 has a bit of a transformation. Dare I say it? the good old vg30et engine is going to be replaced by a 6 litre mercedes v8 with n02. Ive had fun with the old zed but want to do something different, however the zed 32 is gorgeous and will be keeping its nissan power. Look out for the 31 at the pod!

:hyper:Hi Mate good luck with the Transplant I for 1 would like to see it in action

Welcome and see ya at the Pod:hyper:

welcome.....and as to the engine they are a strong lump...its mostly overheating / cooling issues that does them in...that and sodding about when upping the boost leading to detonation etc :D

  • Author

No cooling probs as yet, wont be touching the boost, just good regular maintenance and a nice set of new wheels.

Ok guys and girls, before I take on more welding than I want to, is there anyone who knows where to source new sills??
