Hello folks.

Currently trying to remove the spoiler from the 300zx that i purchased, i undone the bolts holding it in place but yet it would not move, was just wondering if they are glued on or what?

Any bonnet stops for sale anyone??:)

Dont know which spoiler you have, but typically yes they are glued on. using a sealant.

If its the stock spoiler then yes its definitely glued on and takes a lot of persuasion to remove and they usually don't come off without getting damaged. Your then left with a tailgate that will need to have all the sealant removed, many holes filled and the entre thing resprayed.

If its aftermarket then that depends on the person that fitted it, but you would usually glue and bolt spoilers on.

There is double sided tape used on the original spoilers. If you use some fishing line and take your time you might be able to cut through this and keep the spoiler intact.
