I bow to the Zed Gods and fellow Zeddies!!

Im new to this forum, Ive cut a deal on a Zed TT its a 1992 model, I hope to collect her this coming sunday, its a long way away in devon but I will bring it out of the south west into the more intense southeast lands!

Ive read as much as I can on the buying guides so hopefully will spot any issues (if Im awake enough when i eventually get there), this will be my second nissan, before I owned a RS4 Stagea which I enjoyed but sold cause of the mental fuel consumption (180miles per tank).

Anyway if there is any advice you professionals can recommend regarding the first inspection and first projects to undertake on the Zed it will all be much appreciated!

Smooth Rolling fellow Riders!

May Zed be with you!!

You do know the Zed is not a 1.0l Diesel dont you and will olnly get about the same miles from a tank? Or is that the same miles AS a tank!!:x:

Welcome fella, hope its a goodun your going to see!

Welcome.

The Zed has a bigger engine and an extra turbo compared to the RS4 Stagea, so I hope your not expecting economy. ;)

Hey,

Thanks for the advice, I will be in unknown territory so will be crusing on new roads until I hit home ground which is when I will let the Zed gods overpower me and make me one with the Zed, in theory that will be the period of initiation!.......From then on you can call me a potential Zed God!....Just like all the rest of the God and Goddesses on these forums!!!

Hi and welcome

Well if its wet and slippy like Lisa says take it easy and see how far a tank of petrol gets you at low speeds...... then go for a blast when it's dry..... My Zed gives the best MPG at about a steady 85 -90 mph with no sudden throttle use.... Like I can go from Aylesbury to Zedworld on 1/3 tank and use a 1/3 tank piddling about locally on a weekend

Welcome to the world of zeds, as others and Tony have said ease yourself into ownership, the safest way and cheapest way.
