Whats this do then?

Following on from my boost controller thread. This is whats currently installed and im not even sure it is a a boost controller. Its an Apexi Air flow controller. Anyone any idea what this does, doesn't do? Apparently its wired into my ecu (thats not a definite mind). Anyone shed any light on it? If I were to simply disconnect it is it likely to cause any problems and is it juts electrical or is it anything to do with the boost?

Cheers

Mike

It intercepts the signal between ECU and MAF and is adjustable so you can trick the ECU into thinking there is more or less Air, so it injects More or less fuel for tuning purposes. Its a bit of a Hack tbh, and can cause all sorts of running problems if not setup correctly..

With it switched off it will be disabled, or you can completely remove it.
