It won't go away!

I'm not doing anything mega to the Z either as I've done pretty much everything 'big' that I want to for the time being, just odds and sods here and there. I thought I could give it a break but I can't.

Replaced all the tyres today not just because they needed to, but because I wanted to go a little wider and Jesus H Christ, it made a difference. Stance is near as how I want it as possible. But wait; I want to buy a boost controller in a few weeks time, I'm picking up some new O2 sensors from Mario tomorrow, then there's a new 4 channel amp I want to get, new chip from either JD or AP, the car's going to the bodyshop before the end of the year to get the roof bars painted gloss black. Along with that (even though they still look very good) I want new targa trims, window trims etc.

I had it SORN today because I can't be bothered to re-tax it. I'd rather tinker about with it in the garage for a bit!

I thought I'd stop spending after the interior. Apparently not. :(

I'd hate to think what I've spent. Probably in the region of £15k excluding the cost of the car itself which was about £5k I think, I could have a bought an NSX for that!! That's a drop in the ocean compared to what some people on here have spent! I'm having fun doing it though. :D

I pick up my second z this saturday. I am not gonna spend much on this one. I have and exhaust to pick up on the way back and an apexi air to come too but that's it oil change service and NO MORE ;)

It is a lovely looking car so the outgoings on it are worth it imo ... :)

I thought about it long and hard but no, I really like the original TT front bumper and prefer it to the 99-spec and since I've done this to it, it would seem a little pointless really.

I do like the 99 fascia, but I think the early TT ones look a little more aggressive.

If I was starting again I'd get the escort racing fascia, basically a 99-spec with a nice lip and Kaminari sides. But keeping the main body of the car original and clutter free.

you've shaved it :) smoooth. tis nice but with the shape look of you're car rims, 99 rears (and wallet  ) i'd '69 it all the way dude

Indeed, yes, I shaved it, along with the sills and rear bumper, but narr, the body is staying as it is. The only plan I have for it other than the black roof bars is to possibly have the grey 'moustache' repainted on it, fit some UK spec smoked corners and tint the reflector of the fog lights.

A bit like this p'shop of someone else's car.

Only from tomorrow it is! I officially have 1hr and 35 mins left if I want to take it out...but, wait....the road is wet outside! LOL

I might re-tax it again in a month, will see how I feel. Other than that, it'll stay in the garage for the winter to be kept away from the ravages of salt and shite.

si you're f'in jokin ??? not the moustache on the bumper ??? that's one of my pet hates on the z it looks shite

Those are old photos. Few small blemishes on it now, but not a lot. I fitted nice new fog-light lenses since too. So looks nice and fresh.

No, I like it. You can use it to hide away the fog lights and indicators in a semi-standard state! LOL
