Oil in the exhaust could account for the smoke, but the lack of power suggests you may have other issues as well such as boost leaks or incorrect ignition timing etc.

Often fitters can change parts ok, but not know how to set up the engine after, maybe a good idea is to get it checked for boost leaks and any timing errors along with a ConZult diagnostic, sure someone here may help.

a think i have cracked it lol.......it sounds like they may be a boost leak ...a think an can hear a smalll hiss...also a think they havnt set the actuator up properly n soon as its boostin its openin the wastegate n lettin it all out cos its only boostin at summit like 7 psi if that...... n it used to be bowt 13 with it turned down slightly n 16 wen fully up.

7psi will be saftey boost, could be detting. check the base timing and start working on your colling. If you here a hissing and you havent yet done a boost leak test... do one.

How do you do a leak test???

You need to pressurise the system by forcing air through the intake with a boost leak tester, you can make one or buy one.
