    Kazaa didn't work for me (plus I think it used to have spyware, which it may or may not still have), so I use WinMX instead. Use whichever works for you....

    I've just installed Kazza, but now it connects automatically when I connect to the internet and I get a connected box to show an application is open. Can I stop this?

    Oggy is correct, www.kazaalite.com will give you best results but without the adware.
