speedo

hi z mates

 

does anyone know where i can get hold of a uk spec speedo, the one on my beast is playing up and has been for a while now, i have fitted new glow dials to her now it packed up all together, affecting the power steering, hicas etc. any help appreciated

    Just a thought, when you fitted the glow dials, did you make sure they were absolutley flat to the old face, cos the needle may be just catching the dial face. If thats the case it will cause the speedo to give a false signal therefore causing power steering problems

    Don't think so - the speedo is just an indicator of the signal/voltage. I would say that if there are speedo indication problems AND power steering problems, then look to the signal into the speedo cluster, or the speed sensor itself.
