Later turbo cars

Hi all

Been talking to a guy who has a 95 TT manual for sale. He said however it doesn't have a turbo guage in the dash as they stopped putting them in later cars? Would this be right?

If it is right how can you tell if its boosting properly. All seems a little bit ooh and ahh to me.

    That is right but the stock gauge is pretty rubbish so not too accurate anyway.

    Yes that is correct. also got rid of the oil presure i think as none of them really work :D

     

    As for testing if it is boosting. you should be able to feel it through the car if it is healthy, sound etc

    best thing to do is post up your location and where the car is and ask if anyone from this site would go down to view the car with you
