right, ourlass has started to learn to drive, she has said she wants her own car, we can afford 2 cars but the dilemma is-im after an estate car and she says that she wont drive an estate car (bitch), we need an estate car as ive now got a dog

thing is do i get her an hatchback (micra, corsa so on) and i keep the zed, or do i sell the zed (for the pittance its worth), get myself an audi S4 Avant (2000 model) and still get her the little hatchback for her to run around in, dog wouldnt really fit in a hatch when fully grown without having to drop the seats al the time, plus its a fook o getting the hairs out of the trim, on an estate car you get the optio of a pet gaurd

im getting sick of the zed, im not enjoying it and its not very practical, i know ive tried to sell it before but it had lots of probs at the time, ive now got those sorted and ive spent a fortune on it since so should be a little easier to sell

oh what to do

what to do

my son passed in march and with 3 cars already i brought him a corsa , the dog goes out in it [collie ] cheap to run cheap insurance

you will never get what you would like for your car

the best estate bang for buck out there is the mitsubishi legnum, affordable and bloody quick

Don't need an estate car for the size of dog youve got bud!! will easy fit in corsa etc. our old english/cross mastiff got in our corsa fine with plenty off room.

the only reason we changed from the corsa to the zafira was we had the old english/cross mastiff and then we got the neo aswell.

In the past had 2 irish wolfhounds and they were massive but both fit in the boot of an astra hatch quite comfy.

Buy her a Ford Focus there is loads of room in the back of them and they drive well

If shes just passed her test get her a little shitbox of a car to start, then once shes bumped and scraped it to death and got a bit of driving experience, buy her something newer.

You can also use any minor parking mishaps in a cheap car to your advantage by telling her cos of that she can never ever drive the zed!!!

Golf TDi (estate)??... Estates don't hold their money as well and can be picked up cheaply? Highly economical and relatively small so she can drive that and you keep the Z?!!

Get her a 4door mk4 golf. My girlfriend has one and we easily fit our dogue de bordeaux in the boot and hes a big 12 stone brute. Plus very reliable and cheap at the minute.

get her an astra/focus and just take out the parcel shelf so the dog can see over the seats, do it in my astra all the time with my mates dog, get about 300-350 miles to a tank(40ish quid) and insurance is ok too, also they are better than a ****y 1.1 corsa/fiesta, and you can still sell the zed for something fast.

Yeah take the bitch round the back of the barn with the shotgun!

....and give the dog to the RSPCA!

Keep the Z
