Importing performance cars

A friend of mine is considering moving up to a high performance sports car and is looking to spend about up to £8k on an import. He is looking at the Toyota MR2 Turbo, Mazda RX7 Turbo, Mitsubishi GTO Turbo and Nissan Skyline GTR but I didn't think he would get much for his money or would he? What should he look out for and what are these grades I keep hearing about?

Leigh - you do this don't you?

I pick my cars up from Tilbury Leigh, but I do go to Southampton sometimes.

I live in Essex so its easier. Where are you based?

I will give you a shout when I pick up my Skyline, come and see what you think. It's due 18th of October.

Seems a long way off though !

Rick

I have to say guys (Rik/Leigh) I admire you as I wouldn't want to chance my money on doing this once, let alone on a regular basis. More Kudos to you and thank you for helping us wishful thinkers out, hopefully one day I will be a customer, an RX8 would be my choice in 2/3 years time.
