whack your boost up to 20psi. you'll get one damn good pssht! then an even bigger bang!! seriously though which BOVs have you got and what boost are you running? also are you auto or manual?

you've probably noticed this but the BOVs will only dump when you back off the accellerator (i.e. they wont dump between change up), and also only when boost is at, say 5psi or more. when mine was an auto the only way to dump was to back off just before it was about to change up and then foot on again to make it change up, which probably sounded weird to those people in the vacinity that knew what they were and how they were supposed to work!

dude i dont want to sound offensive but im well aware of what a BOV does and how it works, i just wondered if the breather to the standard recircs is prone to breakages/vac leaks as this is the hose i hooked into when fitting.

And they do make noise, at all boost levels as they should, obviously going from mild to louder/deeper but they just sound alot quieter to the one i used on my scooby.

Dont get me wrong they're not quiet as such, just not very loud, not to me anyway

what i meant to say was with an auto they wont dump when it changes up, like they would with a manual, and youve probably noticed this

Make them louder by selling them to me and I'll fit them to my manual?

I think you've answered your own question really fella...Check for vac and boost leaks?....

Open the windows and whip the targas out would be my sarcastic 2 penneth!!

I take it nobody has a real answer to this question?

somebody already has, you need to run more boost, more boost will mean more air being dumped when backing off the throttle, the car will need to be chipped first then unless the car has any problems you should be able to run 1bar which will make plenty noise
