believe me mate its just as bad over there...ive lived there and have an american wife and been talking of going back for 3 years now but atm its just not the right time. They have a policy of not giving a visa to a imigrant if they have a US guy who can do the same job:rolleyes: but they are after academics and qualified healthcare workers at this present time i believe. Just dont apply and say you want to be a taxi driver or building labourer:rofl:

my next door neighbours moved to Calgary last week. she was a nurse over here and already has a job over there. he has been a builder/painter and decorater and all i knew last week was he was looking for a job but im sure he'll find one soon enough if not already. they also took two dogs with them and didnt even know where they were going to live when they got there (they'd not even sold their house over here at the time!) apparently they get put up while theyre looking for work. ive Google Earth'd it and it looks a nice place

lol probably mate. the rockies are to their west, and apparently to the east its so flat that if your dog legged it back towards Blightey you'd still be able to see it two days later (albeit with a pair of binoculars)!
