any idea where to get the long braided hose for the cluchline, the one that goes straight from the master to the slave cylinder?? its about 3ft long i think

You can get one made up from a hose supplier like Pirtek. There is'nt anyone in the UK that manufactures/supplies it off the shelf.

just got off the phone now with blackwell hydraulics and they can make one up for me, would anyone be intrested in a group buy maybe?? rough cost over the phone was £35 + vat.

 

can i just clear up that the hose goes straight from the slave cylinder into the master and does away with all the stock origional pipework??

the only bleed point in the system after fitting the hose will be on the slave cylinder am i correct?

Yep, it will go straight from Master to slave and do away with all other pipework and you just bleed it on the slave then.

 

You can either have M10 straight fittings both ends, or you can have a banjo fitting at the slave end. Does'nt make any difference either way as far as Im aware, but if you go for a M10 fitting at the slave then make sure the M10 bolt is long enough as it needs to be longer than the Master one to seal properly.

 

Take your master and slave along and all should be fine.

I hope thats not the correct picture, as that is a pic of the smaller SS clutch line that runs from the hardpipe to the slave that everybody else sells. Description does say Master to slave so might just be generic pic.

 

Price is about same as what the shorter one sells for too though.

hmm... i just went off the decription - I was actually looking for hose solutions as I'm certain they used to sell the corect one... may be worth trying them...
