I've noticed over the last few months that I am not boosting as high as normal and I can hear air whooshing when under boost. So I did a boost leak check and this is where its coming from.

Anyone know how on earth Im gonna get to it?? Also what size it? I presume I can replace it with silicone hose?

You can get to it from above. my water pipe bust on the turbo when i was on my holls and i had to take all that apart. should take about an hour from start to finish.

I think they are already silicone. well mine was.

easy to get to from ablve, you just need to tighten up the jubbliee clips. 7mm socket on a 1/4 drive extention should do it;)

I had a boost leak from exactly the same point, turned out the hose was fine but jubilee clips where knackered and wouldn’t stay tight.

you can fit a hand down under the brake fluid reservoir if you take off the electrical plug.

HTH.

Thats probaly the most common boost leak youll find on a zed.easiest tool to tighten the D/side is an 8mm hose clip screw driver with a flexible shaft. The nissan clips are 8mm but they may have been changed to jubliees which are 7.

Engine has never been out so it will still be nissan OE spec hoses and clips. Is it likely to be the clip thats failed and not the hose itself?

Hope to have a better look at the weekend.

The clips can become loose over time, I had a leak there too. Nipped the screw up a bit and it was fine afterwards.
