Hi Guys,

I'm looking at buying a non turbo Z, 1t's a late 1995 car and although I know quite a bit about the Z's as I've had loads of the years, I've never had a non turbo. One of the things I've noticed is this car doesnt have the digital climate but rather the manual controls like on the convertibles? Is this something that usually comes on the non turbos or what is the reason behind this?

Yeah I noticed most have digital and they were earlier cars so kinda wondering did they change this down the line? I have JDM brochure and it shows a few different Z versions and some of them dont have Digital Climate, only problem is the brochure is in Japanese so I cant make out what it says lol!!

Also what BHP does the non turbo have?

Did they! Was this only for non turbos? or Did Nissan do away with the digital climate or possibly it became an option?

The car I'm looking at also has the airbag steering wheel, was the cruise control re-located or was it done away with also?

airbag wheel ... std

Cruise control was always optional. Mine doesnt have it.

Nor ABS either:hyper:

Digital Climate became a option in later years for all versions whereas it was standard pre-1995 (except convertible). With dwindling sales it was just one of Nissans many ways of saving money unfortunatly.

Cruise control optional, and moved to a stalk instead of switches.

1995 onwards cars also have Less Insulation, thinner carpets, they went back to tweed instead of the suede and velour and some engine parts started to become unpainted.

Great info guys and thanks! It has the tweed interior which I must admit that I quite like, the tweed looks darker in color though on this one to my previous TT cars.
