56 OHM resistor

anyone know where i can get hold of these, i need a few to slow my pc fan speeds down

    it's been years since i've done electronics, would i need a bigger wattage as the fans are 1.8w 12v

    Don't you have temp controlled fans ? Ought to be able to do it in software.

     

    If not, you probably ought to go for a 2 or 3 watt resistor.

    I've got a fan speed comtroller but it only takes the 60mm fans down to 2400rpm from 4800rpm and the 80mm from 3200 to 1900 rpm
