I dumps the waste gate into the atmosphere, bet they would be well loud.

 

Any thoughts on performance comparison the the market leads like Greg Dupree 3" expansion pipes?

illegal in the uk i think - i spent a fortune getting my pipes made up to route the external wastegates back into the exhaust

screamers on our cars dont sound too bad imo, and of course you only hear them pass your max boost level

So do these run off standard turbos?? Or are upgraded turbos needed?? Cheers.

but the same kind of idea

Will constantly sound like the exhaust it leaking though, as im pretty sure the wastegate wont make a perfect seal? might sound horrible?

the wastegates are shut intill the point you reach desired boost level, then the wastegates open and release any extra exhaust pressure away from the turbos. To the atmosphere instead of the main exhaust route, any less pressure in the main exhausts helps as far as i know.

Not bad, about £400 for both!!

Can probably have these made for less than that in stainless if anyone is interested?

Are there any actual performance gains with these or are they just for sound. My mate has an RX7 with twin K3 turbos with screamer pipes and that sounds demonic, but dont know if it makes any difference in power.
