I was just wondering. Over the past few years we have had much more rain than we normally have had before and it has basically ruined our summers. Could this be because there is a lack of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere. :rofl: If this is what we get by saving the palnet then I say let the fooker die. :rofl:

 

Irresponsible attitude? Yes. But I would prefer more than just one weekend a year of sunshine. AND the planet isnt dieing its just going through a natural change and the government have cashed in on it. :x:

It's the natural progression of the planet, fook all to do with global warming. look back at the stone age and the ice age, there were no cars etc back then to melt the ice. its all a load of twaddle, to make governments more money.

That we are capable of returning things back the way they were (and lets face it, things ain't all that different now, we ALWAYS used to have crappy summers, with the odd good week or two thrown in - we just had a couple of really good ones in the last decade)

 

The whole movement was hi-jacked by the Greenham Common/CND/GreenPeace lesbians when they realised they had nothing left to whinge about after the cold war - and latched on to this 'mother earth' needs saving from the horrible MEN movement.

 

The politicians (and especially USA) snubbed the concept until the lesbians had convinced enough brainwashed namby-pamby '90's' educated fookwits with environmental degrees and media studies certificates to back them and 'save our future generations'

 

Then the politicians realised that the campaign had popular backing -you can't argue with the environmentalists when they use the 'do you want to die?' line - but they have a bloody hard job backing things up with any real hard evidence or reasoning when you question them! - I have to deal with this crap all the time in my job.

 

Once the politicians were behind it - in our names - then they worked out how they were going to make trillions of dollars out of us for being 'guilty', and big industry have jumped on the band-wagon, no doubt with lovely jobs for the politicians when they leave their posts.

I don't really know what's causing it, but I can tell you that the summers in the 70's were FAR more predictable than the summers of the last 10 years. When it was dry, it was dry for more than one fooking hour like it is these days. Only the other day I was looking at some old slides from those days and the skies were blue on EVERY picture taken in June 75.

 

Britain is in a location where two weather systems meet and we rely on warm air coming up from the South to push the low pressures northwards. This has failed to happen in recent years, resulting in shite weather all year round. Unfortunately this is the future. Couple this with the other industrial, social, financial and immigration problems of living here, and I say its time to emmigrate. What pride can you take in living here anymore? Sorry to rant, but the weather always sends me off on one and I feel better already!!

I can agree with X-Biker but TBH there were never this many floods across the UK in years gone by. OK global warming might be happening quicker because of all the shite the human race pile into the atmosphere but almost everyone with an oppinion says the same thing. Its a natural phase the planet is going through and if history is anything to go by we aint seen the worst yet by no means. Its getting that bad I am thinking about nicking ZNuts boat off him:cool::rofl:

its all a load of shite this global warming, the local councils tell us to drive slower to stop emissions, they tell us to blow our tyres up to reduce lag to decrease emissions they tell us to fill a car up with more people to reduce the amount of traffic on the road to reduce emissions

 

then the dozy fookers put speed humps all over and then you have to keep slowing down and speeding back up increasing the amount of emissions produced by a car
