Hi, I saw a tread on this earlier. I am checking to see if this will help the o'l spin on the back when wet. I recently lost my zed (not too much damage) in the wet. Would traction control help to reduce this?

I have had all the cambers re set and although tyres are probably not the best, I was hoping there may be some other useful things I can do.

IIRC racelogic helps mainly with straight line spins / launches etc....but nothing much helps if you losing it on corners apart from the best tyres money can buy

Thanks Uno,

I will invest in some good tyres. Any that are recommended?

This is not quite true... there are 2 types of spin in corners and TC can help with one.

If you are putting too much power out of a corner and the wheels start to break traction - TC can help with this and will reduce a spin situation into a mild drift....

If however you have entered a corner with far too much speed and you lift off mid bend - the weight transfer will flip the back of the car round and you will spin. That's just bad driving and no amount of TC will help with that.

Hope this helps

Traction control is a handling aid. It will stop you being too heavy footed in bends , roundabouts ..etc You could literally floor it around a roundabout and it will only allow the slip you have set it to.

However it cant overcome the laws of physics and if you enter a corner far to fast then your on your own.

It essentially provides you with the maximum level of grip your car and tyres can provide whenever your on the throttle.

RLTC is great when cornering!! the software even allows you to set up different slip levels for straight line control or when cornering! :)

Greeat I am sold guys thanks, Only one question which one to get. I don't want all singing and dancing, just the right one to aid in those corner situations discussed. Thanks again.

I would get the one with the analogue controller - oh I already have!! :D

digital controller looks swish & can give you more adjustments, but I think the basic adjuster has more than enough settings.

launch is a bit too much of a gimmick IMO so dont bother with that.

group buy going on at the moment here too :)

Hey bud I have the basic RLTC without the launch button and it works a treat when my car ever makes it out of SPC you can have a scan if you like.

Hi Paul C, where is that tread again
It's on your tyres bud.

Sorry couldn't resist that!
