lol, i rather like them. Much better than the discoloured broken things that are on there at the moment. Or i should say what were on there, since ones already dropped off.

I'll see what they are like in the flesh, if they are crap i'll just get some made up at halfords - wernt expensive!

that'd be for hte front though? Ive a standard UK on the front of mine. Just the jap rear i was struggling for. Find out tomorrow anyway!

Clean plain plates are the way to go, no outlining, logos or silly straplines. :)

I'll be honest, my zed looks mint without any plates at all... Might just leave em off and see how long it takes for me to get pulled. Looks very clean on the back end!

I know what your saying Si, thought id give them ago just incase - if they are shit i'll just bin em.

Fancyplates product won't be crap. They are well finished/made.

Halfrauds won't cut them to shape. I got my rear plate cut especially from measurements I took as normal 4x4 sized plates are the wrong size and don't fit correctly.

My front plate is a simple 3/4 sized.

Front and rear both the same size. Import size plate on the front is illegal though.

Import sized plate on the front is legal providing the font and spacing is correct!

afraid not - unless the design of the car prevents a standard plate from being fitted: i.e. there is a recess for the plate; if a standard plate fits it, you must fit one!

Are you sure?? Because my rear plate is just a little different the front... :s

Whoever told me the sizes were wrong because the rear doesnt fit....! Well, ive made it fit but it required subtle modification to the bumper and a considerable amount of swearing!

And your font isn't legal either Si.

Mind you, neither is mine.!

I know my front isn't legal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

I was talking in reference to the stock size of the rear plate which is big. A plate can be HUGE but as long as it's got the correct font and spacing, it's legal. Same goes for Jags and Rover 75s with oversized plate size. Font and spacing is legal. NOW, if you go smaller, then see my responses in the FAQs about numberplate sizing.
