Now that LED replacements are available for almost all the exterior bulb sizes i was going to start swapping them out. Problem is that there is an endless amount of strange codes and diameters available on the internet for the bulbs available. I've tried the FAQ and searching but i can't find any information on what bulbs sizes are used in the front and rear light clusters. Anyone on here have any idea?

Then look up the 300zx.....

The front dipped beams are different on the import 300zx though, They are a H3C bulb.

I'm not sure what size the main beam bulbs are - I've not had a look. A THINK, the fogs are a H3, they are on my car, but I'm not sure if they were also H3C's, but were converted to H3's.

The rest of the bulbs on the site e.g. rears, sides, brakes etc are as per diagram.

I sell ALL the bulbs for the various 300ZX models.

 

Dip-beam: H3 55W (UK-spec) / H3C 55W (Jap-spec)

Main-beam: H1 55W

Fog-light: H3 55W (but requires modification from spade to bullet connector - easy DIY operation ;))

 

Easiest thing to do is to look at http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/lighting.php and tell me which ones you require. Most, if not all bulbs, are in stock ready for shipping.

I tried your site first but I was wanting to get LED's bulbs all round to replace the normal type ones all round and i could only find the normal type there.

 

I then stumbled across that autobulbsdirect site last night and ordered a full set of LED replacements for everything bar the headlights (of which the dipped are already HID's) and the front side/fog lights (of which i've already got a set of LED's from DTA).

Now i know that £150 is a lot for some bulbs for your car but i much prefer the instantaneous switch on/off look that you get from LED's compared to regular bulbs. Also i should hopefully never have to change another bulbs (although you could probably buy quite a few regular bulbs for £150).

No worries Dave - I do a lot of business with AutobulbsDirect (I supply them a number of items)! Good luck with the LED's - I've seen a number of conversions from normal to LED and in my opinion it didn't look as diffused as I'd hoped (LED's tend to project rings) but technology does move on so your bulbs may be a lot better.
