Autobox brake band servo

second gear has been slipping so i removed the sump from my autobox to find an m8 bolt in the bottom of the sump, :smash:

the head of the bolt had broken off also this would indicate streching of the bolt!!

the bolt has come from the brake band servo and im thinking has this seized or is coming under exessive strain and that is why second gear isnt working??

i have replaced the bolt with a new one and will try the box again,

in the filter was a few brown bits that could well be the brake band only a tea spoon full maybe!!

well lets cross fingers it will work this time :rolleyes:

p.s anyone know what the b shift solenoid does as it wasnt doinjg much when i drove it using the conzult??
