Flywheel

My clutch is starting to slip in 4th and 5th under scceloration, so I intending a heavy duty high performance cluitch replacement. So thought of fitting new flywheel. How about an aluminium one? your views welcome.

    Ive been told that an Aluminium flywheel isnt the best opsion as they can warp under intense heat and with a heavy duty clutch the clutch will chew it to bits.

     

    I maybe wrong but i went for the 12lb steel version to be safe

    We have had a lot of success with our RPS Max Street and Lightened Flywheel combo (see http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/clutch.php for details). The clutch will easily hold around 500bhp and 570-odd torques (;)) Both parts are specifically designed for the Z32 by specialists Greg Dupree and are used in some extremely powerful Zeds over in the US. I can highly recommend these parts.

Shall probably give Dan a view on his clutch, also been checking out ACT. I have some time to play with as it only slips when I floor the loud pedal in 4th.
