Aftermarket Gauges

I'm in the process of fitting some aftermarket gauges and I have a couple of questions.

 

One of my gauges is an Air/Fuel Ratio gauge. After reading the installation guide, the wiring is as follows:-

 

Red:- Ignition +

Black:- Battery -

Gray:- 02 Sensor Signal

Purple:- Dimmer (conect to headlight switch)

 

What I would like to know is can I pick up the 02 sensor signal from the ECU and if so which pin is it?. It also refers to heated and non-heated Oxygen sensors with anything from 1 to 4 wires. Can I ignore this if I can connect to the ECU?.

 

Secondly, I'm also fitting a boost gauge. What would be the best way to connect the hoses up as the instructions for this arn't very clear.

 

Any pictures or diagrams would be very helpful.
