Hi out there, I have noticed I have developed a sort of drumming or drone type noise. Not speed related as far as I can tell. I have had a lot ow work done underneath, All bushes on each corner, brakes, disks etc. And have tyres only about 200 miles old. Is this a common thing for our Zeds or is there something happening under there I should know about.

That doesn't sound good :(

Sounds like a wheel bearing possibly?

Prop bearing?

Any vibration?

I had a drumming sound in my car last year. Turned out Cozy Powell was living in my boot.

Well, it appears that because I left my zed sitting for about 5 months both back tyres have gone a bit out of shape. Not much, but I recon that probably causes that rumbling at the rear. Cause I never had it befor I put the car away. And when they were recently balanced the guy said they were both out of shape a bit. If I drive on them are they likely to get better. (warm up and go back to normal) or not.
