FAO all 300ZX.co.uk traders

We have noticed that this forum hasn't been used by our traders for some time. In fact, the last thread was date 13th August 2007.

We are looking at removing this forum but wanted to give you all the opportunity to give your views before switching it off.

whats it for ?

Paul its to discuss any issues you have with customers or any questions you would like to run through the Committee in private.

Hi all!

I think that this section "was" a good idea at the time. However, as time has progressed it has come to the attention of some of us traders that certain non-traders have gained access to this section. This was never proven but given some of the comments over heard in other sections it was quite clear that something that was said in this section was "leaked". It therefore became an issue whether it was "secure" enough to hold private discussions with the Committee about certain issues. I have personally used this section with much success but do find it easier/more secure to send a PM directly to the Committee member involved. It has the desired effect and is usually shared with the other committee members if requested.

So given my views above I don't see a reason for keeping this section.

Just my 2p worth!

All the best,

Dan

Due to the traders comments above, we have decided to close and remove this forum from the board.

If you need to speak to any member of the Club Committee, then you can use the PM system.

Cheers!

Paul,

If the traders, including your good self, wish to utilise the facility, then of course, we will leave well alone.

The reason why I asked the question in the first place, is due to the fact it hadn't been used for almost a year.

With the greatest respect, your first post in this thread was "what's it for?", which speaks volumes really.

If you want it kept open, can I suggest you and your fellow traders start using it :D
