Well they arrived, these however are not the godspeed coolers, i was informed that the godspeeds are a chinese copy, these ones i bought are more expensive but made by the original aussy designer, who knows if there is a difference!!! they look massive and well built anyhow, apart from the inside end tank which is actually quite big just seems small and out of proportion to the size of the thing.

The godspeed coolers seem as though they have been discontinued for whatever reason!!!

Here are some pics to show off their size next to my pc monitor which is a 19inch i think.

These coolers have a large section on the top which will not see any air unless the fog lights are removed and a custom air duct is made, this is still something i need to do before i can test them fairly. The fogs are removed which should let in some air for the time being.

Another thing i should mention is the tops of the indicator stalk come in contact with the cooler this is easily fixed by removing the rear bracket that holds the cooler inplace, then the cooler can be repostioned just enough to stop the contact. without this bracket there is still the front bracket and hoses to hold it in place so i wasnt worried about removing it.

These will not fit without the CC removed so i Managed to find some time to do a CC bypass aswell as fit these. The problem was that the carbon canister metal piping was in the way so i cut this lot off and did the necessary bypassing and tubing to make space for the new cooler. It is recommened to remove the CC anyway as its very restrictive at letting air out the back of the cooler so this was a bonus :D

I don't suspose by any chance your car has been dynoed so we can eliminate the "do they or don't they work" Jimmy ?

When you eventually do, it's intake charge temps you should be looking for as much as BHP.

What makes you think a guy in Aussie designed these ?

I know of a guy over there who sold shit loads of massive SMIC'S, however they were just imported and not from the US.

The Godpseed ones are available direct from Godspeed and cheaper too, i would suggest each box comes with a free set of chopsticks in it :)

I don't honestly think the world will ever know who is actually making the ebay/godpseed coolers one way or another. Personally i wouldn't, but thats just me, lol

Oh btw, the ebay ad you bought from, the pics of the coolers are not only the same as Godpseed, but Godpseeds actual pics.

Yeah i know the pics are godspeed coolers as i know whos car that is. Greavous from the us forum. Im going to ask the seller that question right now.

Like i said or if i didnt say, Who knows who made them or where they are from they look like they work and they are cheap :D

I read on the us forum that they were designed a few years back by some aussy bloke who used them for himself or something......

Im probably being fed loads of BS so the only way is to buy and test, so once my car is run in i will take it to a dyno and bring along my old coolers and do a quick swap over, only takes 30 mins or so.

oh yes and i saw that godspeed website and it looks dodgy theres no contact information and the site looks too basic for my liking. Ive also not heard of anyone who has bought from them so i wouldnt like to risk it.

Smithy i was also thinking of fittiing an aftermarket temp sensor to monitor intake temps where would be a good place to fit it? just before the throttle body? and what kinda gauge would i need?

Yes he does but something still needs to be made to guide the air after the hole like this:
