Koni adjustable shocks

How do I adjust them. I take it I loosen the nut on the top of the strut

then screw in or out the threaded middle part to soften or stiffen them. My question is which way

does what, screw down for stiffer and up for softer or the other way around ?

Also does it 'stop' on its lowest and highest setting or could a go too far

and it come out ?

I have a special white Koni plastic screw thingy that sits on top of the strut. It has directional arrows on top of it, telling you which way is which. Can't remember off hand.

No need to undo the nut, just turn the adjuster. They wont go past their stops. Just wind them alll the way in and go up road and back, will quickly be able to tell if thats soft or hard.
