Popped it in this morning and it passed on everything apart from the seatbelts!

Apparently no british kite mark on them so the harnesses have to go but apart from that was advised on the steering bush/windscreen crack and something else but the real shock was the emissions: 0.131% (3% max) and 114ppm (1200ppm max) when its smokes like a bitch and wreaks of petrol lol

Happy bunny! :dance::dance::dance:

I'll sort the seatbelts this weekend then pop in for him to inspect and i'll pick up my test certificate, not bad value at £35 and done while you wait in 30 mins :)

I'm well chuffed mate, i've been dreading this month :D

My pc blew up saturday with supposedly a motherboard failure and then the car to worry about and i had a spark of genius and tried resetting the bios only to find the power supply blow clean out the back of the base unit! Tried a spare psu and it worked fine so bought a new one and the whole system is back up again :)

Now this as well, so potentially saved myself a grand this month :hyper:

You lucky bugger!

Just spent £2111.95 for repairs on mine for the MOT, a list as long as MY arm!! :)

Just got her back and am glad I didn't get rid

Glad to hear yours got through ok though!

beers on you then :D:duffer::D

VOSA states it takes 45mins for a mot, thats how long we take

hmmmmm thats a new one on me, they may say the average test time is 45mins but a test takes as long as it needs ;)

A good friend of mine is an MOTer and sometimes it takes ages and sometimes its done in no time! But he still only punches the results into the computer an average of one hour after he started the test. He can't be accused of not taking long enough that way!

Interested in the seat belt kite marks as mine are Jap and dont retract well- infact passenger one just given up completely with a couple of yards of belt laid on the seat! MOT in 2 weeks as well!

How are you replacing yours?- are there reliable ones from other motors that fit?

Regards

Dave

Think he has shoulder belts as oposed to inertia. Think you will fail if it dosen't retract as it means it won't be tight against the body.

Time for bunny to the lottery I think.

Good news buddy.
