I have just had a search for 'Zedworld' on this forum before I take my car to them and notice one of their chaps is banned? Is this anything to be concerned about?

No mate, it was in no relation what so ever to their mechanical skills.

They are in fact the longest established Zed specialist in the UK and probably have the best set up too.

Currently expanding in to far bigger and even better kitted out premises due to high workload etc.

So give them a bell or go and see them :)

Oh and as Grahame says they have a section on Zclub too...

Excellent. Not bothered in the slightest about personal opinions of character just wanted to make sure my money or car wouldnt be at risk. Thank you for responses.

I've used Zedworld inthe past, personally had no problems with his work or customer service.

Been with Zedworld today to get my car sorted! Gone to them at least a dozen times now and always Great never dissapointed and good prices too!

and i got one nice Hot choc too :P

Would gladly recommend Zedworld to anybody and everybody! Dont fear about going there :)

Jeff is Banned from this site, but it has NO bearing on his skills as a Zed Mechanic.

zedworld did my cambelt and their customer service was spot on. even dropped me off and picked me up from the train station.

I've used Zedworld ever since I got my Zed and I've always had top notch service.... BIG thanks to Jeff, Jamie and Linda

They have been awesome with me although I have never been there. Bought many parts from them and am thinking of using them to look after my car even though I live in SurreY

Yeah they have a decent setup over there. My local main dealer were unwilling to help me with parts because I have an import. Zedworld gave me some no nonsense service, btw Munny your car was on the ramps when I went, not changed much since back in the day when 'Senna' had it :)

Actually Clarkey - she had a nice shiny new coat of paint in Honda Black/blue courtesty of PPS and lots of other parts too when I had her... LOL... Still looks fab though IMO - a credit to her current owner - lucky chap. :D

Apologies for slight hijack; I'd just like to add that in the early days of being a Z owner, Jeff did some good honest inspections of Zeds for me.

CheerZ,

JB.

I won't be using him again, he changed my HICAS arms and left the locknuts loose on both sides (Only needed slight finger pressure to move them).

its one of them, you do a search on any garage including some of the most expensive and experienced and you will always dig up horror stories along with the good things!! you takes your pick and you takes your chances who ever you use ;)

Well mate that is a darn shame, i know you'd been there a few times before this with no issues and this is clearly "human error" (lack of or interrupted concentration)

Obviously in your case the nuts are loosend off for the Geometry/tracking alignment and meant to be tightend back up again afterwards and that last bit didn't happen. So what did Jeff offer to do when you rang him and said you'd jacked the car up and spotted this ??

If theres one thing he does far better than any other garage i've ever come across in all my years, that it's on the those rare occassions when things go wrong, he does his upmost to put it all right again. :)

I agree - Zedworld have been spot on with me. Took my Zed up there for a 'new owner check' as soon as I'd bought it. Jeff and Jamie sorted all sorts of little bits, spent hours on the Zed (although a lot of the time was just chatting about stuff!) and it ended up costing me less than a hundred quid, including little parts like a temp sensor and rad cap. Good guys always willing to help in my experience.

I did the same i had been after a Z for a while come across mine in Preston phoned Geoff and he talked me through the sale i got the car and took it straight to Z world spent a couple of hours there talking about the car he done a consult check give the car a once over and cost me less than a £100 i live in Tamworth and see him quite regularly top man nothing is to much trouble and boy does he know his stuff.

Both Jeff and Jamie have been awesome in both service and prices.

Zedworld is a great setup!!!

im glad to hear that Jeff's getting good reviews as he's a top bloke and i'll always have the time of day for him, and he has a really professional setup. however to be fair i do have to say he must have changed his mechanics since i last left my Z with him 2 or 3 years ago as whoever had fitted my decats and DSBC-R had f***ed it up and im certain it wasnt Jeff or Jamie.
