Right still got this blasted missfire! MAF Checked and fine, Coilpacks Checked and Fine (Bought USed set but not needed) Injectors checked had bad connection on one, cleaned and sorted! Water Sensor cleaned and fine.

No Air leaks (Boost Leak checked and cleared) and Conzult came back Clean (No Probs)

Any ideas what else it might be??? Got a Gumball Rally equivalent at the end of August and i really need it sorted before it!!!!

Get the random stalls (Foot on Clutch but revs just die anyways) Unpredictable idle (Floats from 500rpm Most of the time to up 1000rpm)

So when im clutching around in traffic occasionaly car judders as not even doing 500rpm so i look foolish!

Sometimes when pulling from lights car stops accelerating for a moment then comes back to life!

ANy help will be appreciated!

Many Thanks

Munny

Have you cleaned the throttle bodies? Mine did this and went down cheapest route first which was the throttle bodies and it cured the problem! Get some throttle body cleaner from any motor factors and a toothbrush and clean off the the carbon deposits.

Check the CAS, this is what was causing the missfire on Chunders Z and a few others if i recall.

Yeah. Thats right. I feel your pain fella. sooooo annoying when it is doing this and you can;t seem to make an impression on it! here is a link to my thread (i did all the other things first before this... expencive) also i cleaned the throttle boddies out, you might as well for all the time it takes. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=113058&highlight=bloody

good luck!

i hope things have quietened down for you BIGSSS

nice one, J.

Its quiet..............for now lol.

Take it easy Jamie.

As for the CAS try using a small light file and clean the connections on the CAS first as these can become corroded.

Better still, use an alloy wheel cleaner, like Wonder Wheels - it dissolves the green corrosion.

Nice one - glad you've got it fixed - ironic your car's just been in Jeff's for sorting, since I bought that Mine's ECU from him in the first place LOL... Mind you, that was few years ago now to be fair!!

Keep us posted about the top-speed run - love to know what the 'ol girl will do.

CheerZ,

JB.
