Thats what I hate most about my job, having to wear a fookin suit. :smash:

I hate this weather, its far too hot.

 

Just walked the 2 miles from taking the car for mot and I'm dripping wet!

Funny how we complain when its cold, and we complain when its hot :)

 

There's no pleasing us lot :D :D

 

Anyway, for once I'm loving it.... walked into town, got my nails done, did some shopping - and back in the garden in the sun!! Now if only this was back home where we had our swimming pool...... *dreams*

The hard bit for us night workers is sleeping in this heat. We get the sun into the bedroom all day and it is boiling, open the windows and all you can hear at the moment are screaming kids.

 

It does make a change to be able to take the roof off the car however, jus have to watch the sunburn onme forehead. :rofl:

I'm working flat out to make sure i'm ahead for the rest of the week :(

 

I'm off commuting to leeds every day starting tomorrow leaving at 5am and getting back at 9pm :(

 

Only problem working for a charity, good for salary, bad for being stingy buggers for stopping in hotels lol

It's not posh air con through the entire house. Juts one of those mobile units.

 

After about an hour of laying in bed it wasn't getting any cooler. Until the point where I went to check it and forgot to put the outlet pipe out the window.

THis weather is fantastic, ive been doing a full roof refurb today, bang next door to one of Norwich Unions main offices, they have a nice lawn and seating area. Then at teabreaks and lunch time, loads of lovely ladies having a break and getting all sunned up. Very very hot work on a roof in just a pair of shorts, tough job, but im sure i will cope, same again tomorrow.:tongue::tongue:

well i hope it stays like this, ive got the next 2 weeks off work :dance::dance: and loads of stuff to do to the car!!!

Both the missus and me are of this week , had the roofs off and had a nice drive to Carsington Water in derbyshire , pub lunch and plenty of sunburn :dance::dance: about bloody time as well :bow::bow:
