sorry buddy but you take that car out of the usa to an "accurate" rolling road and it would make 100 rwhp less!! for some reason every car ive seen in the usa makes impossible power!! so i jsut ignor them :smash:

There does seem to be a massive argument about Stateside and Euro BHP, engines with teh same spec in UK are making on ave 100BHP less than tehir Stateside counterparts. But the biggest argument killer is the UK cars are not as fast either, whats teh cause, who knows, ultimately when the flag drops the BS stops.

I am talking about the dyno operator, on the second graph the figures seem more believable, but they are very very optimistic for rwhp!

i wouldnt get that excited, ive not seen anyone over here make more than 450 bhp on them, its the usual USA BHP BS mate, theres no way unless your running a huge amount of nos and huge cams that the 530bb's will make over 500 rwhp never mind 580 LOL please bear in mind MACs running turbos nearly twice the size as them at full boost only makes about that!! but at least thats geniune ;)

I don't have cams or 3" downpipes.

 

For some reason my car has always produced a little more HP than the majority in the same league, from standard to chipped. Once JD can fit me in my car will be mapped and dyno'd so I guess we'll find out what these tubs with my set up can do. Either way I'm very happy with them running at just 14 psi.

Well my car made 307BHP with a completely fooked engine. So god know's how that happened

Seems like there are many guys running 530's on their Z's, so hopefully we will be seeing some UK HP numbers soon. I don't know how specialized are the tuners in UK about the Z32, so that definitely counts big time in favor of the US numbers I just showed.

The major difference between the UK and US is that in the US they like to dyno their cars on race fuel which will make a big difference, in the UK we use pump fuel which we can get at 98 octane.

 

But a car making 650ish bhp with 530bb at the flywheel has nothing to do with the ability of the tuner and more to do with the dyno/operator ;)

Garrett m24 is what all the 300zx standard turbo housings have written on them.

 

Stage 3 would most likely mean you have larger impellors and 360 bearings in stock Housings. Will make a bit more power than stock but not 350 each Im afraid.

apparently they will push upto 25 psi

had them set at 21 on high boost

15 on low

will have a better look at them now i have got the engine out

I might be selling my turbos along with super split down pipes and mid pipes if your interested.

 

The car made 520bhp with more to go.

 

The car was rather laggy but i believe that was down to other issues as it's now blown up. I think the mapping was wrong and the timing was off and i also had no VTC. If setup correctly you should get a better result than i did as there were so many other factors which could of caused the lag.
