OK

Hands up all those who have other halves moaning about the money you spend on the car a year.

OK

My Niece has just done a survey for her Economics and Market Research thesis involving 1 million women aged 16 upwards. One of the factors was to find out how much of their total income is spent each month on non-essential items such as makeup, clothes, shoes, hair products etc. It averaged out over 40% of a women’s income goes on stuff they don’t really need. This worked out to be £8000 a year on average. A whopping £2900 goes on face products alone and the OLDER they get the more money is put aside for these products and treatments.

So next time you get nagged about spending a couple of grand on your hobby, point out to them that they wast more money a year on things they don’t need that you ever do on your car.

i've just split up with my miius about 5 weeks ago and 1 of the things she mentioned was THAT F****NG CAR i'm sick of you spending money on it, so guess what i did, i went and bought some gauges just to piss her off and said f**k you its my money i work my arse off for what i get so i'll spend it on what i want,,,,,,rant over!!!

I said to my wife that if i spent £3k on my car it would be improved and nicer. She spent £3k on her face and I see no difference.

Didnt go down to well for some reason

Mine's given up, and I think would rather not know how much I spend, though it is often referred to as "that f'ing car" :)

Hopefully i'll have mine finished before i end up moving in with my girl in the future.

She loves the zed so she doesn't mind what i spend it on :)

Luckily with the rising fuel costs my wife has shut up about me selling my car. reason is I told her I really want to get rid of it but nobody wants a gas guzzler, so its not worth anything, especially as I have to resray it first. She fell for it :)

I get the same treatment... She bought 2 pairs of shoes the other day...totalling...wait for it....are you sitting comfortably....£600....They've got some sort of red sole on them and that's designer apparently.... Now she's asking to borrow some of my hard earned... I'm not allowed to buy a BMW 850CI cause of the cost....but I worked out her shoe collection last year and it totally over 9K...ON FKIN SHOES.... I swear she think that once she's worn them once, she can't wear them again..... Also charity bags...a load of her clothes where put out for charity, which is fine...only some of them still had their tags on them as they'd never been worn....then there is a leather jacket I bought her 5 years ago, that she positivily had to have or the sky would fall down....guess what... it's never been worn..... her reason...it's to nice to wear in the winter, and to warm in the summer....WTF....

This all sounds very familiar. She says all I ever talk/think about is Sex and Zed's...whats wrong with that !?

I managed to shut her up a year back when i got her a zed of her own...but it did'nt last and she's at it again.

My misus convinced me to get rid of my last zed, saying that it was a pethetic car to have as it cost to much and I loved it more than her, at last the passion I had for the zed won, hence I have another, shes the one that convinced me to spend the money on another modified engine for it, shes changed, big time, for the better that is. lol, she will never win over the zed, I bet I have spent less on the car than she has on fags, clothes, make up etc.

Famous last words ...

don't you just love us women :D

luckily im single, though my previous girlfriend knew how much the Z meant to me but still when i excitedly pointed out a new mod she'd just look at me and say "how much?" thats as far as it got really. i think for those long-sufferers out there, if she says you cant spend any money on the Z, say she cant buy any clothes/shoes/handbags/make-up. see how she likes it :)

I can't do with women that whinge at their men about spending money and time working under their cars etc, I mean ffs would they rather they spent their money on other women and being under other women?

don't you just love us women :D

fookin ell Chris you need to get her told :D

only jokin fella, aas long as your both happy thats all that matters

too be honest mate if thats what she wants to spend her money on that fine by me, she works hard, at the moment Im not working much at all. Swings and roundabouts.

But £11K on shoes, face products and otehr "beauty" treatments etc.

she must be good looking then is she? if i had a pound for everytime my ex said her would'nt go right i'd be a rich man, lol.

See now i can justify my new set of 18" wheels, and a load of 99 spec stuff for the zed, if the other half even mentions about how much it costs, its my money and i worked for it. NO I DONT WANT TO GO SHOPPING FOR A NEW BAG FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the knack is never disclose when you make a purchase for the car, when its eventually noticed say youve had it ages and it cost £50..

a bit like this

"Whats that thing there?" (points at boost controller)

"Its a boost controller"

"When did you get that?" (starts to scowl)

"Oh its been lying around the garage for ages"

"What did it cost?"

"Fifty quid"

Job done!
