I WANT A SWB!

i darent say anything to the mrs as iv already caned over 10k on my RED () family wagon since around this time last year so i think she will slash my throat, prize my finger nails off with a bottle opener and feed my nuts to the dogs :(

convince me that im chatting sh!t and that the grass isnt greener on the other side! i cant help but think the swb is a 'proper' zed and if i end up spending £££ on a colour change repaint on my estate model i might live to regret it?

The SWB model is the only proper Zed. End of debate.:D

I fully understand the needs of some members who have 2+2s to use as occasional "bratz-wagons". I had a 2+2 280Zx at one time for the same reason before I got a proper Zed.. my blue 240Z.

Even Nissan have seen the light.... there are no 2+2 350Zs.;)

i wanted a swb when i bought this 1... but er in doors managed to convince me that it would be better to buy a lwb so we could fit the dog in if we went to meets etc... (just her con as she prefers the lwb) but now weve got 2 dogs theres no chance lol! mine is indeed a tidy example and now that jimmer has emptied my wallet it has a bloody good engine... but if im gonna carry on spending i may aswell get something i really want, what i really want, zig a zig-aaaah?

Yes but youve got to remember the fact that the 2+2 is the prettier of the two cars, the SWB just looks a bit dumpy to me... especially with a wide arch kit (sorry to fat arse SWB owners but its just the way it is... (imagine it was short and fat and youve got it, at least the LWB wide arse is Tall and fat (like me), still doesnt look too bad))

i agree to an extent... i understand people who think the swb looks too short.. but i think its mainly lwb owners that are used to seeing it like that... i personally think the lwb looks too long! so for me a compromise is to buy a real one ;)

One careful MATURE UK owner! Interior is "unused" ATM!!

Only revved to 7500 for short bursts.:slap: Choice of wheels n tyres etc. Likely to be available to a new owner early next year;)

i have to say i prefer the lwb personally. Would be good to see how they both drive

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

lwb is the only zed that you can drift.....and put your shopping in :D

the size of the vehicle doesnt make a drift car........ power does!

a swb is perfectly capable at drifting infact you probably need less power:p as the saloon z is a heavy wallowy beast

lwb has a longer wheel base...... quiet smellraiser

its hellraiser or gaz btw

I agree with the Mature part... hehe. I'll see where im at next year... if big grey makes it through the winter without dropping to bits or blowing up i might not need it... However if she ends up a scrapper by xmas then i may well be shopping for somthing like that.... Something i can track and not have to worry about too much.

i disagree, the shorter the car the more twitchy and also less stable.
