Need to change the PAS pot as mine rusted and generally looks in poor condition, when i change it do I have to worry about air ingress into the system, and if so whats the method to bleed the air???

I didnt have any problems after i changed mine. I sucked all the fluid that I could with a syringe and then pulled the pot off. You might find it hard to get the larger pipes off it as they can be very tight but keep at it. I then put the chrome one on and topped it up. No problems.

When you've installed your new one just half top it up at first. Then with the front end slightly of the floor and engine running, just hold it to full lock one way for about 10 seconds and then the other. Keep doing that and checking the fluid level. After about 10 t0 15 mins top up to proper level and hay oh away you go.

Same as above.. No problems when I changed mine, but did do what Mark suggests above.
