For some strange reason I have some 8mm fuel hose on my car at present.

I've been informed by a reliable source that I need 9mm.

Anyone got a good source online. I'm lazy and can't be bothered to do real shopping :)

i replaced mine with 8 mm and its been fine

300zx uses 8mm fuel line. Make sure its High pressure hose though, desigend for Fuel injection systems, as a lot of the stuff is just low pressure stuff.

I've been told it's 9mm (well 8.9mm to be exact).

I always thought it was 8mm to be honest. I'm sure the old stuff I took off was 8mm I remember measuring it up with the verniers to size the new stuff.

It's 8mm and if you're looking for 8mm braided hose then let me know as I've got this in stock.

Dan

PS - old fuel lines tend to expand with age, hence larger internal diameter. Shouldn affect fuel pressure too much though.

i have replaced the fuel lines with braidid hose rated upto 150psi is that enough? also ive replaced the power steering lines with a different brand of braided rated at 10bar?

150 psi is roughly ten bar, not sure of the fuel pump discharge pressure, but i wouldnt of thought the line pressure will be anywhere near 10bar.

The inline fuel pressure of a standard Z (or modded Z with standard fuel pump) shuld be 45 psi. So anything over 100 psi shoudl be fine.

Danny,

What are your Hoses rated at and can you letme knwo the price.

Thanks

Hi Stuart -

I'm not at my desk in the office so can't give you the actual rating but it is high pressure fuel hose. I'll get you the actual rating later. As for price, the full kit (hoses, end finishers and line separators) costs £68. I'll be in touch asap.

Regards,

Dan
