Has anyone installed a manual switch to control the air con(condenser)fan.

If so did it effect the rest of the air con system ie info sent from the ECU to the relays etc.In case anyone asks I want to do this because I am getting no supply from the relays to the fan ALL relays and fuses are working, fan is working too,so I am guessing there is a problem with the ECU.ANY help would be appreciated:(

When you say fan do you mean the Auxillery fan under the nose panel ?

Yea MATE THE CONDNSER FAN SUPPOSED TO COME ON AS SOON AS YOU SWITCH THE AIR CON ON(ITS MAIN FUNCTUN IS FOR THE AIR CON COOLING BUT DOES COME ON AS AN AUXILLERY MAIN RAD FAN BACKUP WHEN CALLED FOR BY THE ECU. HOWEVER AS I'VE SAID I HAVE NO SUPPLY TO THIS FAN WHEN I SWITCH THE AIR CON ON:(:(:(

No, it does'nt come on with the Aircon unless engine temp is above 96 degrees. With aircon off it comes on at something like 103 degrees. Its main function is as a Auxillery backup fan.
